CHECK CHECK DOUBLE CHECK

I'm interested in the relevance of news, and especially the role of newspapers nowadays. What is the importance of news, if even newspapers' slogans are bizarre?

The result of my research is a newspaper filled with slogans of (mostly American) newspapers, completed with my own subjective black-marker-layer. This marker is a reference to the newsagencies in England, where kioskowners write down the biggest news of the day on a poster in front of their agencies, in order to sell more newspapers.

My extra layer gives a double meaning: CHECK CHECK DOUBLE CHECK.
